Our song "Cough Syrup" was performed on GLEE tonight in a scene that showed the dark reality and impact bullying and emotional distress can have. We find it important to show our support for the bullying and suicide prevention awareness efforts that exist to shed light on this important and difficult reality.
Bullying always has its consequences. It is an act of repression on the part of the aggressor, and although it might seem harmless at times, to the victim the emotional scarring can create impressions of hopelessness and despair. Just don't be careless. Please. Treat others with respect and love and understanding. We are the new generation; let's make things right.
